“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 1:6

Things slow down a little bit in this season—but not too much! We’ve got plenty to plan and prepare for, including
our 2026 season of summer camp. Registration opens December 1. Pray for another successful year of ministry.

Fall Retreat Updates

At our fall retreats, we ask students to share their goals. Here are a few:

  • “Be closer to God and trust his plan.”
  • “Building my courage up to tell my friends about Christ.”
  • “Getting closer to God.”

See What’s Happening at Trout

Sometimes you’ve just got to see what’s happening at camp. Here’s a look:

  • Cabin updates: This year we tore down the old Squirrel cabins and added the
    new Bison cabin. Take
    a tour!
  • Fall youth retreats: We’ve wrapped up our fall youth retreats for the year,
but you can get a glimpse of the fall colors and a taste of the energy in this video

    .
  • Parent/kid retreats: See highlights from our
    Mother/Daughter and Father/Son retreats.
  • Women’s retreat: Finally, take a look at our Fall

Your support and partnership makes Trout possible. Thank you.

Exponential
is a yearly conference that has long been a staple for many Converge North Central church planters, pastors, and leaders. Taking place March 16–19 in Orlando, Florida, over 5,000 people will attend this dynamic gathering, spotlighting the theme “Multiplier:
It’s in You.”
While Exponential is known for its focus on church planting, the conference goes much further by exploring how healthy, disciple-making leadership can spark lasting impact and reproduce both
ministry and disciples.

With five keynote sessions and more than 250 workshops—including topics such as church planting, digital
ministry, multiethnic leadership, leadership development, disciple-making, and more—this is a unique opportunity to deepen your vision, sharpen your skills, and connect with a community of like-minded leaders.

The in-person registration sold out months ago and
the good news is, CNC has a number of registration available! Contact Joel Nelson
for more information.

Also, if you are planning on attending let Joel know. He’d love to connect with
you in sunny Orlando!

Whether you’re seeking fresh inspiration, practical tools, or meaningful relationships, this conference
is designed to equip you from doing ministry to multiply it.

Converge Pastors – CNC is encouraging you to attend Converge Together 2026! Converge Missionaries from around the world, Pastors, and ministry
leaders from all ten Converge Regions will Converge Together at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C., June 23 – 25.

Talk with fellow pastors – find out who else is going, invite your Regional teams, plan to bring your spouse, perhaps your whole family,

learn more details, and register here
!

How is Converge North Central encouraging you to attend?
For all CNC Pastors and Spouses who register for the conference
using the link above before December 31st and attend, the full registration fee will be reimbursable post-conference.

For those who pastor churches of less than (or around) 150 regular attendees, we have a double encouragement for you to consider attending.
Not only will registration be covered for you, your spouse, and your family, but Converge National (along with our partner sponsor WIF) will generously provide three nights’ hotel for you while you are there. But most importantly, you will join

Small Church expert Karl Vaters
in person for a breakout at the conference, as well as have the opportunity to be with Karl Vaters for a six-session Zoom ministry cohort leading up to the conference!

To take advantage of the CNC reimbursements, you must register
(and pay now) by the end of the year, December 31. Questions about anything on this Converge Together 2026 topic, reach out and contact Jonathan Dahl at 612-505-7510 or

Jesus, we come before you with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from you. Thank you for being our only hope and foundation.
As we prepared for Thanksgiving next week, remind us that gratitude is not just a feeling, but an act of worship flowing from hearts transformed by the gospel.
Lord, thank you for our churches and pastors across Converge North Central and for the mission you’ve entrusted to us: to see more people meet, know, and follow
Jesus. Strengthen our pastors, leaders, and congregations to faithfully and boldly share the good news in our communities.
As we gather with family and friends during this time of year, may we model humility, generosity, and a deep dependence on you. May our gratitude overflow into
acts of love that reflect you to the world.
Amen.
